THE ANNUAL J’OURVERT MORNING EDITION

On Friday February 8 Soca vs Dancehall is hosting itsannual J’ourvert Morning Edition. It’s always the biggestSVD edition each year with 2 areas. There will be live performancein the Bacchanal Area by Lil Natty and Thunda, the Roadmarch winners of Grenada for 2017 and 2018 and also performance by Kenyo Balythe Groovy Soca Monarch winner of St. Maarten for 2017 and 2018.This edition will also feature dancehall DJ’s such as DJ Skinny from Jamaica, Supa Nytro from London and Soca DJ King Kembe fromSt. Maarten. The second area will be hosted by Caribbean Night XXL an eventthat blends Caribbean music genres with Urban. Live on stage willbe Dezz from Curacao and Young Ellens. As usual there will be buses going from Almere and Amsterdam to the party and back.This is going to be an unforgettable night so get you tickets quick.

SOCA VS DANCEHALL RED FETE

It’s the last Soca vs Dancehall for 2018, the annual Red Fete. Join the fun, just wear something red. Three artists from the Caribbean will be on this event which are Marzville from Barbados GBM Nutron from Trinidad & Tobago and Merzy from Grenada. Also DJ Shaker HD from London will be joining. DJ D-train and DJ Fiber will be there to spin the dancehall tracks and will be joined by the SVD DJ’s. Buses are available from Amsterdam and Almere. Get your tickets quick.

NADIA BATSON & RED EYE CREW

Soca artist Nadia Batson from Trinidad & Tobago and the Dancehall/Soca group named Red Eye Crew from St. Maarten will be live on stage at Soca vs Dancehall Glow In The Dark Edition. This will be held on Friday September 28 at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Make sure to get your tickets on time.

YANKEY BOY REPLACES NADIA

Dear all, we’ve got bad news, good news & good news. The bad news is that Nadia won’t be at Soca vs Dancehall on Friday.The good news is that we have managed to replace her with Yankee Boy (hits: head nice/rumors/blue soap & more). The other good news is that Nadia will join us on September 28 at the annual Glow In The Dark Edition at Melkweg. If you choose not to use your purchased ticket for June 8, you can use it on September 28. We are sorry for the inconvenience. SOCA VS DANCEHALL 9 YEARS ANIVERSARY

Soca vs Dancehall is celebrating 9 years this year. The celebration will be held on Friday June 8 at Melkweg in Amsterdam. For this special occasion we’re having one of the nicest voices in Soca, miss Nadia Batson from Trinidad & Tobago live on stage. Also DJ Titan VCD from Trinidad & Tobago will be there together with the SVD DJ’s. As usual there will be buses leaving from Rotterdam & Den Haag to bring you to the party and back.
