In life changes happen and things come to an end. We don’t always like it but it sometimes creates new opportunities.
Our beloved Soca vs Dancehall a.k.a. SVD is coming to an end after 16 years. We will have SVD’s Final Fete on Friday April 4th 2025 at Maassilo in Rotterdam. After that there will be no more SVD.
We want to thank everyone who have ever visited Soca vs Dancehall in the past, especially those who visited often. We had great fun and created a family vibe, from its first days in Arnhem all the way to Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht and the other cities we’ve visited throughout the years. SVD made a name for Caribbean music, especially Soca which was never recognized as a genre in The Netherlands before SVD.
A big thanks to the staff, DJ’s, artists, DSL and everyone who have helped in making SVD what it was.
